Alba Angelina Querencias was born in Talavera de la Reina, in 1992. She obtained her degree in Biochemistry in 2014 at Complutense University of Madrid. In 2014, she joined to the group of Dr. Oscar Palomares to carry out her final degree project aimed at the study of the interaction between food allergens and lipids. In 2015, she finished her Master Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine at Complutense University of Madrid, with a final Master project aimed at the elucidation of the allergenic implications of the interactions between food allergens and lipids. In January 2021, she  defended her Thesis «Cannabinoids and immunomodulation: Novel Therapeutic strategies targeting DCs for inflammatory diseases». Currently, she continue working in the group as Postdoctoral Reseracher. Dr. Angelina is involved in different projects related with the development of novel vaccines targeting DCs for food allergy and other inflammatory diseases.
