Rodrigo Jiménez Saiz

Dr. Jiménez-Saiz, born in Madrid (1984), carried out his thesis between the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Guelph. He received his FPU-funded PhD degree (Allergy/Immunology) from the Autonomous University of Madrid in 2012. Shortly after he joined McMaster Immunology Research Centre (Dr. Jordana’s lab) where he became a MITACS-funded Postdoctoral Fellow in 2015 and a Research Associate & Immunology Instructor in 2017. He was an AllerGen NCE-funded Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School (Dr. Shreffler’s lab) during the summer of 2017. He joined Dr. Palomares group at UCM as a Juan de la Cierva Researcher in June 2018. His scientific interests include the initiation, maintenance and modulation of Th2 responses, especially as it relates to B cell immunity.
